What is MEND?

A general men’s group. We are open to men from all backgrounds, beliefs and religions.

We connect men to spaces to gather, talk honestly and respectfully, listen, build community and move forward together to better serve our families, neighbors and communities.

How does MEND work?

By guys gathering together and talking in honesty, transparency, and humility; by showing up in each others lives through the good and the bad

How much does it cost to join?

Nothing. It’s free. There are no membership dues or applications. We strive to keep our activities accessible to everyone.

What do we do?

Connect men. In person, and virtually.

Challenge men to move forward towards the best version of themselves.

Why was MEND started?

“Walking through the pain and darkness of a collapsed marriage, I was completely broken. I needed help. There, in that pit, I personally encountered God and his love, truly, in a way that completely reshaped my life and motivated me to reach towards other men who were looking for community.

MEND was born as a small group of guys from different backgrounds, meeting, eating, and talking candidly a few times a month at my apartment. I realized that real conversations and growth can happen when men show up, honest and transparent, and strong connections can be made, often through the adversities of life. I personally needed this, and I saw that other men did as well.

I didn’t want any man to be where I was before: alone, disconnected, and afraid. As I realized the value of men’s community in my life, I wanted to provide spaces where men could come into community with other men.

My hope is that this community will be one that resonates with you and a place where deep relationships are formed.”
